Description
Even the most succulent meat needs a pick-me-up now and again. Humans have known for millennia that while meats carry their own umami tastes, these are heightened a hundredfold with the addition of herbs, spices and salt.
Enter Dizzy Dust, the all-purpose BBQ seasoning that transforms ho-hum to heroic heights. Whether you’re cooking ribs on the Big Green Egg, want a poultry seasoning for grilling chicken, or are transforming the humble pork loin into an ecstatic experience, you need a rub you can count on.
With a complexity of flavor hailing from exotic spices such as pink peppercorns and smoked Morita chiles, Dizzy Dust is in a class of its own. It not only packs that spicy, salty punch you’re looking for, it balances and synchronizes the natural flavors of the meat. Perfect for a wide variety of barbecue, it really shines on grilled pork and chicken.
So whip out that succulent cut, massage those chicken thighs and coat those spare ribs liberally. When you use Dizzy Dust All-Purpose Barbecue Seasoning, your culinary delights will soar as high as the smoke from your barbecue. In other words? The sky’s the limit.
Also available in Spicy, Coarse Grind, and Salt-Free.
No BBQ sauce

ok, have been using Raging River for years but thought I would try Dizzy Dust. Here ya go, first time in 81 years my dearly beloved has NOT used a BBQ sauce (Usually Sweet Baby Rays). She was content with the rub and no fancy prep.
Baby backs heavily rubbed and in a 250 oven for three hours. No smoke, nothing fancy and they were great.
Dizzy Dust mmm

I got some in a Butcher BBQ samples pack from Pitmasters. Now I’m here to get a pot. I smother my salmon with it. Hopefully they’ll deliver to the UK. Yum!
Amazing BBQ Outcome

Dizzy Dust is awesome. Great on a variety of pork and poultry items. Gluten Free makes it a bonus… this seasoning has taken my BBQ to the next level!!
The best rub from Day One

I’ve been a fan of Chris’s Dizzy Pig rubs for a very long time. I am fortunate that the local BBQ supply store carries a full line. I’ve BBQd on a Big Green Egg for 20 years. Since purchasing an Air Fryer and an Instant Pot awhile back, I’ve discovered that good old Dizzy Dust is perfect on chicken wings and thighs, and shrimp and pork done quickly and so flavorful that it’s been our go-to all-purpose rub during this whole covid mess. I have other DP rubs that are very good…I recommend trying them all! But Dizzy Dust is a classic.
It's that good

Just wanted to drop a line to say how much my wife & I love your Dizzy Dust seasoning. We picked it up at the Ace Hardware in Fairfax, and I’m thrilled to see you have other seasonings that I’ll be trying soon. The kick that the Dizzy Dust has is amazing. Keep up the good work, and I’m thrilled you guys are in my neck of the woods!

My friend Joe Spinney and I participated in the SoCal Eggfest and Joe took second place, his claim to fame was the Dizzy Dust and the guy who won used the Pineapple Head. Joe only got beat by six votes! There must be something to your stuff.
First time using dry rub
Jeff in Alaska –
I used the Dizzy Dust on some pork ribs, and smoked them up on my 30+ year old clay BGE. I have always use a BBQ sauce on my ribs, and this was my first time using a dry rub. They were just incredible, best I’ve ever cooked. And this coming from a guy who barbecues all year around.
