SHIPPING & RETURNS FAQs
At the Dizzy Pig BBQ Company, most orders are packed and shipped within 24 hours of when they are placed. Orders MAY ship the same business day if they are received weekdays before 9 a.m. EST. Shipments generally arrive in 1-6 days from the time they are shipped from Manassas, VA.
To avoid re-delivery expenses, you are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. Please verify the address on your order before checking out, and pay close attention to the fact that there is a “shipping” address AND a “billing address”. Your billing address should be where your credit card bill goes, and your shipping address is where we will send your package.
Shipping rates will vary depending on your order weight and delivery destination. Before you enter payment information, you will see the actual shipping charges for your order on the Delivery Confirmation page. We do everything we can to keep shipping costs down, and you are only charged the actual amount that we pay.
We will calculate shipping charges for both USPS and UPS methods, and pre-select the delivery method with the lowest cost for you. You will, of course, have the flexibility of choosing the shipping method that’s best for your needs.
Our primary shipping services are United States Post Office (USPS) Priority Mail and United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground Service. You can, however, upgrade to UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air before you confirm and submit your order.
- USPS Priority Mail: 2-3 business days
If your package weighs 2 lbs. or less, then USPS Priority Mail is usually less expensive than using UPS Ground. However, USPS Priority Mail is not insured. If you would like to purchase insurance for your USPS Priority Mail package, please contact us with the request.
- UPS Ground: 1-2 days for East Coast, 3-6 days for West
If your package weighs more than 2 lbs., then UPS Ground is usually the least expensive method of shipment. Products shipped via UPS are insured up to $100. However, UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. For these orders, please select USPS Priority Mail as your shipping option.
- UPS Next Day Air: 1 business day
UPS guarantees overnight delivery of these packages by 10:30 a.m., noon, or the end of next business day depending on location; or by noon or 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Before spending the extra money on overnight shipping, please call us at 703-273-3580 to confirm that orders can be shipped in the desired timeframe.
- UPS 2nd Day Air: 2 business days
Packages are guaranteed delivery by the end of the second business day. Please call us at 703-273-3580 before selecting this option to confirm that orders can be shipped in the desired timeframe.
- USPS First Class: 2-3 business days
Smaller packages that weigh less than 1 lb are eligible for shipping using this economical method. If your order meets this critera, this option will be pre-selected as the delivery method with the lowest cost for you.
Not very long. Our team here at Dizzy Pig always puts the customer first, and we do everything we can to get the order shipped as soon as humanly possible. Most of the time that means your order is packed the same day we receive it, and if we miss that days pickup, your package will usually be on the way the following business day.
If you select USPS Priority Mail, expect 2 days in transit in the East, and 3 days in transit out West. USPS delivers Saturdays as well. If your package is traveling via UPS, expect 2-3 days in the East, and up to a week out West. UPS does not deliver on Saturday.

Pickup times are not always at the end of the day, so orders placed after noon may not ship until the following day.
Well, shipping costs are high. It costs money to ship stuff, and the farther we ship, the more it costs. If we were a mega company like Amazon, we might be able to offer “free shipping”, but we are a small company that takes pride in making the best seasonings out there. You get our actual cost on shipping (including any discounts we get as frequent shippers). And lo and behold, it comes right to your door!

For orders outside the United States, you (the purchaser) assume ALL responsibility for your order once it is packed and shipped. Please report all damaged or missing packages directly to USPS or UPS, and refer to the tracking number we emailed you when your order was shipped. We cannot process refunds on seized, damaged, opened, or non-returned items, so you should check with your local Customs office to be certain that you can receive the products you ordered. If order is returned to us for any reason, and in saleable condition, we will refund the cost of your order MINUS all shipping charges. Please check your shipping address carefully before completing your order. Contact us through the “Contact” section of our website if you have any questions.
We do not accept PayPal on orders shipped outside the USA, unless you are a confirmed member and the shipping address matches your Paypal account address.
- Customs, Duties, and Taxes. When ordering from DizzyPigBBQ.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees imposed by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are imposed when a shipment reaches your country. Any fees for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient. Dizzy Pig LLC has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely, so contact your local customs office for further information. Delays in customs are not uncommon, and we have no control over this. Dizzy Pig will not be held responsible for any additional fee the local carrier in your country may charge for delivery.
- Value Declaration. Dizzy Pig must declare the exact value of the products on an invoice as well as Customs documents. We will not falsify these documents or omit any information for obvious legal reasons.
