Cheese & sausage breakfast casserole

Dizzy Pig’s Game On! seasoning puts a spin on the traditional breakfast casserole. This is the ultimate comfort food at its finest! With a mimosa on the side, you just might go back to bed after breakfast!

  • 8 white bread slices, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 4 tsp Game On!, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar
  • 10 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk (do not use lowfat or nonfat)

Ingredients

  • 8 white bread slices, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 4 tsp Game On!, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar
  • 10 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk (do not use lowfat or nonfat)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Season sausage with 2 teaspoons Game On! and brown well
  3. Grease 9×13 baking dish and place bread cubes in prepared dish
  4. Top bread with sausage
  5. Then cheese
  6. Beat together eggs, milk and remaining Game On! and pour over sausage mixture.
  7. Bake casserole until puffed and center is set, about 50 minutes.
  8. Cut into squares and serve

***This dish can be prepared 1 day ahead and then left to chill.
