These simple steak sandwiches are a tasty garlicky treat. The recipe is for two sandwiches but can easily be doubled. I’ve used a plancha on the grill, but this all works just fine in a skillet on the stove top or an outdoor griddle. As always, the times may vary depending how hot your griddle top is.
- 6 Tbsp butter at room temp
- Dizzy Pig SPG Garlic
- 2 hoagie rolls
- 1 medium yellow onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 strip steaks, about 1/3 pound each
