Excellent Traditional Rub

Just received my sample package of SPG rubs and immediately tried the “Classic” on some beef tenderloins with delicious results. I recommend using this in place of kosher salt if you pre-treat your steaks, rather than adding it after pre-treating and before grilling as you might with “Cow Lick” or “Raising the Steaks.” Otherwise your steaks will likely be too salty. All in all an excellent traditional rub – I look forward to trying the others.
