This cool and refreshing tzatziki sauce is a cinch to mix up, and will liven up any meal. Rich, creamy and fresh, it’s delicious slathered on sandwiches, served alongside a salad or grilled veggies, or enjoyed as a dip for fresh veggies, pita chips.

Ingredients

  • 32 oz Dannon plain whole milk yogurt (not Greek yogurt)
  • 2 whole cucumbers, cut in half with seeds scooped out
  • 2-3 cloves garlic smashed and finely diced
  • 2 Tbsp Dizzy Pig Mediterranean-ish Greek & Italian seasoning

Directions

  1. Chop the cucumbers into small dice
  2. Mix with a couple teaspoons of salt, and put in a strainer to release the water for 45 minutes
  3. Wrap in a dish cloth and squeeze to remove as much moisture as possible
  4. In a medium bowl, mix cucumber, garlic, and Mediterranean-ish seasoning with the yogurt
  5. Use for sandwiches, salad dressing, vegetable dip, pita chips
