Spinach Basil Sauce for Pasta
Mary Ann’s Tzatziki-ish Sauce

This cool and refreshing tzatziki sauce is a cinch to mix up, and will liven up any meal. Rich, creamy and fresh, it’s delicious slathered on sandwiches, served alongside a salad or grilled veggies, or enjoyed as a dip for fresh veggies, pita chips.

Ingredients
- 32 oz Dannon plain whole milk yogurt (not Greek yogurt)
- 2 whole cucumbers, cut in half with seeds scooped out
- 2-3 cloves garlic smashed and finely diced
- 2 Tbsp Dizzy Pig Mediterranean-ish Greek & Italian seasoning
Directions
- Chop the cucumbers into small dice
- Mix with a couple teaspoons of salt, and put in a strainer to release the water for 45 minutes
- Wrap in a dish cloth and squeeze to remove as much moisture as possible
- In a medium bowl, mix cucumber, garlic, and Mediterranean-ish seasoning with the yogurt
- Use for sandwiches, salad dressing, vegetable dip, pita chips
Step by Step

Ingredients for Maryann's Tzatziki-ish sauce 
Cut cucumbers in half and scoop out seeds 
Chop the cucumbers into small dice 
Mix with a couple teaspoons of salt, and put in a strainer to release the water for 45 minutes 
Wrap cucumber in a dish cloth and squeeze to remove as much moisture as possible 
Smash garlic and chop into a fine dice 
Mix yogurt with garlic and Mediterranean-ish seasoning 
Stir in cucumber, and chill until ready to use!
