DrBBQ’s Parmesan Green Bean Almondine

This is a tasty fresh green bean almondine with that great Shakin’ The Tree taste! The almonds add a little crunch and the parmesan makes it creamy and cheesy. If you’re tired of that old mushroom soup recipe, this is the one for you.

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Dizzy Pig Shakin’ the Tree seasoning
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup shaved parmesan
Directions
- Prepare the grill or oven to cook indirect at 400°F
- Snap the stems of the green beans and cut them in half if desired
- Place the beans in a grill friendly pan, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly
- Season liberally withDizzy Pig Shakin’ The Tree seasoning, and toss again to coat evenly
- Place on the grill, and cook for about 30 minutes, or until the beans are cooked to your desired degree of tenderness, occasionally tossing so they will cook evenly
- Add a little extra olive oil during the cooking if needed
- Transfer the beans and any liquid in the pan to a serving dish
- Sprinkle the almonds over the beans, and top with the shaved parmesan, distributing it evenly
- Serve immediately

Toss green beens with olive oil and Dizzy Pig Shakin’ the Tree seasoning
