Dizzy Pig Releases New Products

Chris Capell of Dizzy Pig Barbecue Company creates a new spice blend series for high temperature cooking, searing, blackening, and grilling.

Since 2002 Capell has used his spice blend creations at Kansas City Barbecue Association competitions and won 12 Grand Championships.

The Dizzy Pig Barbecue Company, LLC is proud to announce the launch of a new line-up of grilling, searing and blackening fusion spice blends under the Dizzy Pig ‘ish’ banner.

According to Dizzy Pig owner and blend creator, Chris Capell, the goal in the creation of the blends is to take familiar flavor profiles from around the world and “give them a Dizzy Pig spin. I wanted to take traditional blends, rework them to create a fusion of tradition and Dizzy Pig creativity, and then, using fresh ground ingredients, turn the volume up to eleven!”

The first entries in the Dizzy Pig ‘ish’ series of spice blends are Bombay Curry-ish™ and Fajita-ish™.

Bombay Curry-ish™ is a spicy, fresh take on classic Indian curry. Any fan of curry knows that freshness is what separates the mundane from the exotic. This blend strikes that delicate balance between heat, savory, exotic, and fragrant. No spice blend benefits more from the deft Dizzy Pig hand with fresh ground spices and herbs than does this new creation; you are sure to be impressed! People who don’t like “curry” love this stuff. People who do like curry love it too.

Dizzy Pig’s Fajita-ish™ spice blend showcases an array of spices, chilies and herbs used regularly in Mexican cooking. With this seasoning, Dizzy Pig has created the perfect blend and totally nailed the south-of-the-border flavor profile. Fajita-ish™ takes the familiar and totally ramps it up with fresh ground whole spices.

These first two entries in the new ‘ish’ series of spice blend offerings will be made available to customers online, at the Dizzy Pig Flavor Store in Manassas, VA, as well as at over 600 stores nationwide including Ace Hardware, Whole Foods in the northern Virginia area, as well as in Canada.
