Welcome to the Club

Congratulations! It’s a Big Green Egg, one of the finest cooking implements. And now, a primer for new BGE owners or those looking to shorten their learning curve. We’ve designed this class to introduce folks to the ins and outs, the dos and don’ts of cooking on a BGE.

Over the many years and many hours of cooking on a BGE, we’ve learned a trick or two. So we’ve taken our BGE wisdom and packed it into a half-day long class, taught rain, shine or snow. We’ll prepare a buffet of edible masterpieces, using an array of cooking methods all on a BGE. We’ll impart to you all the particulars: grilling over direct heat, indirect roasting, fire building, temperature control and creating proper smoke. We’ll even cover the preparation and cooking techniques of each dish prepared as part of our curriculum.
