Reserve Grand Champion!

Dizzy Pig has not competed in North Carolina since Rockingham several years ago, and we’ve never done much of anything in that state. The fact that people in North Carolina grew up cooking and eating barbecue makes it tough already. Then throw in all of the different flavor preferences in different parts of the state, and it makes it very difficult to compete. We went not knowing what to expect, and were treated to nice weather, and a great contest. Roy and crew did a great job for the teams, and so many of our Virginia friends were there…like Serial Grillers, Chix Swine and Bovine and Cool Smoke. And once the numbers were tallied, Dizzy Pig ended up 2nd place overall with a nice check for Reserve Grand Champions!
