Chesapeake, VA – May 2010
This was our second first-time contest in a row. Unfortunately, one of our favorite contests, Danville Pigs in the Park was discontinued this year, so we ended up setting our cookers up in Chesapeake Virginia. Quite an amazing event, and the carnival was one of the coolest I have seen out on the road. Music was good, and the teams were handled well. Dizzy Pig cooked much better than the week before in Danville, and every entry went off without a hitch. We were very excited to get a first in chicken, and another call in brisket, but the judges were not generous with the pig we cooked!
